Mike Zizza
Strategic Account Director for the U.S. Army

Mike Zizza is Red Hat’s Strategic Account Director for the U.S. Army. In this role, he’s responsible for revenue growth, go-to-market strategy, and aligning Red Hat’s portfolio with Army modernization efforts. Prior to joining Red Hat, Mike served in a similar capacity as IBM’s Software Client Leader for the U.S. Army and DoD Agencies.
His focus on positioning technology for mission/business results, is rooted in several years of DoD client delivery with Booz Allen Hamilton. He also worked with F500 clients as a leader in Dell Services’ Digital Consulting practice leading transformation and application rationalization engagements. Mike started his career as an Army officer in the Field Artillery and Ordnance branches from 1995 through 2004.
Mike holds a B.S. from USMA, West Point and M.B.A. from Indiana University. Certifications include: Technology Leadership from the University of Virginia, Innovation Strategy from Cornell University, and Product Strategy from Northwestern University.
Mike resides in Austin, TX and serves as a VP in the AUSA Capital Area Chapter. He is also active in NSIC, Austin Defense Council, and Austin Boxer Rescue.
