Karl Magnus Bergh is an experienced professional with a solid educational background, including two MSc degrees in Information Security and Public Leadership and Governance. He also holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Karl’s military career spans over two decades, during which he rose from enlisted personnel to the rank of major, serving in the Norwegian Defense Forces from 2000 to 2020, with several international deployments as a seasoned signaler.

His ICT expertise was further developed when he took on civilian positions, including Senior C4IS Engineer at the Norwegian Defense Material Agency and later as Department Manager for ICT/C4IS at the Royal Norwegian Air Force’s development department.

Recently, he was the Department Manager at the Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace Cyber Security Center before joining IBM Consulting in 2024 as a senior integration architect and business development lead for the defense sector.

Karl is dedicated to driving digital transformation in the defense sector, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance operations.
