Shep Bostin is an Enterprise Architect for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), working with Systems Integrators focused on the U.S. Federal Government. He is responsible for designing technology solutions that support and align with customers’ missions, technology strategies, and IT processes. Shep also serves as an HPE AI Ambassador (one of only 50 worldwide), having extensive additional knowledge and training in Artificial Intelligence, with particular emphasis on HPE and NIVIDIA’s industry-leading AI hardware, software, and services portfolios. In this role, he serves as a resource to HPE’s public sector customers, partners, and sales team.
Previously, Shep was a Solutions Architect for two different HPE partners, supporting both public sector and commercial customers. Earlier in his career, he owned a small IT services firm that served the needs of a wide range of small-to-medium-sized businesses, served as a senior executive at a publicly-traded “dot com” company in the early days of the Internet, and was a Product Manager in Silicon Valley for several well-known software products. As a recognized technology expert, Shep has been interviewed for more than 100 magazine and newspaper articles, appeared on dozens of radio and TV programs, and presented at countless industry conferences.
Shep holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Information and Decision Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and is a graduate of Phillips Academy at Andover. His thesis at Carnegie Mellon focused on Expert Systems – one of the earliest practical implementations of artificial intelligence.
